2 New Elements Named on Periodic Table, Ununquadium and Ununhexium[wired.com]Jun 02, 2012
 
   Though only temporary names for now, the elements recognized at 114 and 116 will probably officially be named Flerovium and Livermorium, respectively. The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry officially approved the introduction of the elements on May 31st 2012.

    Australian scientists announced that they've found a chemical compound that may raise chances of survival for snakebite victims on Monday. The cream, normally used for increasing survival rates of heart patients, has been shown to slow the absorption rates of lymphatic systems, which slows the absorption of venom.
